Thatcham Town Cricket Club Hits a Six with New High-Tech Nets š

Thatcham Town Cricket Club just rolled out its shiny new three-lane practice nets, and the futureās looking as bright as a summer's day at Lordās. The grand opening on August 2 was a night to remember, with the Mayor of Thatcham, Suzanne Adamantos, delivering the inaugural ball to kick things offāliterally. The new nets are a much-needed upgrade, replacing the old facilities that were lost to a flood alleviation project. Despite losing a chunk of their grounds, the clubās spirits are high, with hopes that these top-notch nets will help mold the next generation of cricket legends.
The club, which relies heavily on community support and young talent, is already buzzing with activity, especially on Friday nights when junior cricketers take over the field. So, if youāre in the mood for a pint and some BBQ while watching the future stars of cricket hone their skills, Thatcham Town Cricket Club is the place to beā.
Thatcham Town CC 1st XI take on local rivals Falkland CC 2nd XI this Saturday at 12.30pm at Thatcham CC grounds for those wishing to see some good olā cricket bring played.
